AU Darwin Day Celebration In Wichita Kansas

The Great Plains Chapter of AU is hosting its Fourth Annual Darwin Day Celebration on February 15th, 2014.  It will be hosted at the Holiday Inn Wichita, on the southwest corner of Kellogg & Rock (549 S Rock Rd, Wichita).

Unique silent auction items will be on display beginning at 6:00 with delicious hors d'oeurves and cash bar provided at 6:30 with the program & speaker beginning at 7:00.

The evening's guest speaker is KU Professor and historian Jefferey Moran, who will discuss his book, "The Scopes Trial: A Brief History with Documents," and the division that arose in America between science and religion. Q&A will follow, and the book will be available for purchase.
