This bill allows nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and residential treatment centers that are overseen by the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to adopt a policy that permits informed vaccination refusal rather than requiring informed refusal.

    1. SCMD supports Public Health - Religious Exemptions from Immunization Requirements - Repeal. This bill repeals the prohibition against the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene requiring the immunization of an individual under specified circumstances; and repeals the requirement that the Department adopt rules and regulations for religious exemptions under a specified provision of law.
