Secular Coalition for Maryland Executive Committee
- Mathew Goldstein, Chairperson
- After getting an undergraduate degree in Political Science, by which time he realized he was an atheist, and working for some years in various places in New York, he took the federal civil service exam and was hired in 1991 to work as an Information Technology Specialist in D.C. While living in Virginia he acquired a graduate degree in Operations Research at George Mason University.
- Wayne Libby, Communications
- A new addition to secular activism, Wayne joined The Secular Coalition for Maryland after attending the 2016 Reason Rally. He is retired United States Air Force with over 20 years of military service, over half of that holding the position of Special Agent with the Office of Special Investigations. During his career, his responsibilities led him to travel all across the United States, Europe, and locations in the Middle East such as Damascus, Syria and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. While experiencing other cultures around the world, the importance of a secular government became more apparent to him. He now identifies as an atheist, humanist, and skeptic. Earning his B.S. degree in Computer Science from University of Maryland, he uses his expertise as the Technical Security Program Manager for the Department of Energy. Wayne currently resides in Southern Maryland.
