Here are some examples of favoritism in Maryland law for Sunday as day of rest.
(a) Except as otherwise provided in this section, the hours during which alcoholic beverages may be sold or delivered to retail license holders by holders of wholesalers’ licenses are from 6 a.m. to midnight, on every day except Sundays.
(d) Except in Howard, Montgomery, and Prince George’s counties, and except as provided in subsections (g) and (h) of this section, a new or used car dealer may not sell, barter, deliver, give away, show, or offer for sale a motor vehicle or certificate of title for a motor vehicle on Sunday.
