Compass 120 Apparel is an apparel and design company which tailors its clothing and accessories specifically towards the free-thought community. The idea to establish an apparel and design company was devised by our owners around the Fall of 2010. In the Spring of 2012, the idea was finally mobilized. Compass 120 Apparel debuted its first line of t-shirts, called the “Free ‘T’ Collection” at the 2012 Reason Rally in Washington, DC. After a very successful pre-launch and positive outlook, the company officially revealed its products to the public and began to sell its first collection on May 5, 2012. The company name was formulated on the concept that “an intelligent person does not need the promise of [reward] to see the merit in good deeds”. In combining the concept of the infamous “moral barometer” with that of the base range score for high intelligence, the name Compass 120 Apparel was formulated. The aforementioned quote from an unknown author has been the backbone of the Company’s mission and driving-force towards its envisioned success. One of our main focuses is to increase free-thought awareness and visibility through the subtle, yet powerful messages we display in our designs. In doing so, we hope to give even those who cannot (or do not wish to) outwardly display their lack-of-faith as vocally as their peers, a chance to be heard. Compass 120 Apparel designs, prints and produces all of its products and does not outsource any of its services. In doing so, we hope that we can provide the utmost quality to each and every customer and eventually create a memorable icon in the free-thought community world-wide.
